The upcoming The Avengers sequel subtitled “Age of Utron” is going to be featuring a new character and Cast Member. The Wrap is reporting that Aaron Johnson will upgrade his accustomed film budget and play Quicksilver in the sure to be blockbuster of all blockbusters set to hit the screen in 2015. Johnson is most recognized from the cult action hits “Kick Ass/2” and Oliver Stone’s drug epic “Savages“ but also a lesser known Popcorn Movie Review favorite “Nowhere Boy”, where he plays a young John Lennon. The initial cast listing for Age of Utron on IMDB reads like an actor’s hall of fame bringing back all of the principals from the first Avengers; Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and adding James Spader and Elizabeth Olsen for the 2nd installment. I hope that the script can hold up to the talent that is going to be on the screen. As for Aaron Johnson goes, and Elizabeth Olsen as well, Popcorn Movie Review hopes that this huge budget blockbuster doesn’t completely sway them away from their indie roots when Johnson played the young Beatles Band leader and Olson starred in the depressingly frustrating but amazing Martha Marcy May Marlene.
