Jake is a young man who has always connected more with his Grandpa that his father.  His Grandpa would talk him to sleep as a child with adventurous, horrifying stories about time travel and children with supernatural powers.  Jake loved the stories his Grandpa told him but always thought of them as just that, stories.  Everything changes for the average high school teen when one day his grandpa suddenly and mysteriously dies and Jake is hurled into a new life of mystery and adventure.
